Have tried for 2 days to talk to human about fixing TV after the big glitch. Read the book thoroughly - still nothing. For a new customer this is sad. |

Technically he was speaking english. And technically it worked. But he-talked-so-monotoned-with-a-bad-accent. All I wanted to do was figure out why I couldn't login to my account. (Hitting 0's got me booted FYI- GREAT SITE! Bookmarked!!) |

Very poor service! This is our 3rd day without service and the only answer we could get was "sorry we cannot set you up with a service call because the weather in your area is below freezing". No kidding we live in PA!! We only got this because of the NFL network and now we're missing the biggest game of the year!! Going back to cable ASAP!! |

They sold me 5 receivers for a dish that only had 4 hookups. It seems the sales reps should know this set up won’t work. The service tech, Tyrell, was courteous but unable to help. They can’t send me a multi switch. They want to send out a tech to hand it to me. $50 service call. |

when you get to the prompts, say cancel,then when you get a person say your sevice sucks and i want to cancel and they move you to the next tier of agents that can acually do something about your problem |

Hire an english understanding person and drop the automatic helper. I am already angry because something is wrong with my set etc. and then I can't reach anyone and when I do I can't understand them. |

Very easy to work with. I have had little problems in getting my requests fulfilled over the phone as long as I keep it simple. The reps have very little info beyond what they see on their computer screen. |

Have been with Direct TV for four years (I am now out of contract but still stay with them). Always excellent customer service in English and problem always resolved. Also get free Show Time or credits from time to time. I'm VERY happy with them! |

From purchase to customer service to technical support these people will not be fair with you. They will tell you one thing and do another. DISH for years was outstanding for me but one bad time with one person at DISH and family telling me to try DirecTV so I changed. In four months I've regretted it soooo much you can't imagine. Go with DISH or FIOS but not AT&T as they have a poor reliability problem with customer service as well. DON'T get DIRECTV, please. |
