I was transferred to tech support even though I said I wanted customer service or the complaint department. I got tech support and was given another number to call and told it was toll free. It wasn't. Luckily I checked before I called it. More than 3 weeks ago I was given an e-mail for the complaint department. Even though I have now e-mailed a couple times I have heard nothing from them.

This was my second call to Lexmark. First call took over an hour, and the tech support guy, after telling me how to clean the ink cartridges, decided the cartridge was defective and a new one would be mailed in 1-2 business days. That was March 3. Called again today and this support person said the cartridge order was cancelled, due to insufficient address. I had him read me the address, and it was correct. Then he said, "We'll have to go through the cartridge cleaning again." That had taken over 45 minutes last time, so I said, "Forget it. I'll buy the darn cartridge myself!" So now they have all my information.... and no replacement cartridge.

I called for help on a printer cartlidge I had trouble with. It was the worst experience I've ever had on this type call and it cost me about one hundred dollars. I could not communicate with the person I found out to be in India. He was polite but it was an absolute nightmare.
