1/24/2009 4:52:35 PM 1 10 Yes Stupidity reigns supreme here. I think it is deliberate to frustrate and confuse you until you just get fed up with trying to reason with morons. I was told that a provider was not in network while I was looking at Aetna's website stating he was in network. I asked the rep if she would like the providers Aetna ID# and she said NO! Emails so far have yielded stock "provider not in network" answers with no explanation why their current website states he is is network. Forget trying to get anywhere with the voice prompts. Still working on getting through to these knuckleheads.

1/12/2009 11:56:54 AM 1 6 Yes I called about a denied claim. Agent said claim not valid. Her supvr said the same thing, even though I read my contract to them, which clearly stated that the claim was valid. A week later I got a statement saying the claim had been been paid. Aetna has a bunch of morons supervised by a bunch of idiots.

8/25/2008 8:47:22 AM 2 2 Yes Not very user friendly. Takes too long to get to a human. This is one of the most annoying IVRs I have ever interacted with. It's all "I can connect you with a customer service representative -- but I'll need some information first to connect you to the right person."
8/16/2008 12:17:36 PM 1 12 Yes Beyond belief incredibly poor customer service; makes you feel like they don't have any idea what their customers need and want; unfortunately it's a necessity to call them and every time I have to, I dread it and it makes me in a bad mood.

7/14/2008 2:05:52 PM 2 10 Yes Aetna has the most horrible customer service. Depending on who you get a problem will or will not be taken care of. You cannot get a supervisor/manager they require a 24 hour call back.

Then it tells me that more than one person has member has my social security number.
